Women's Storm+ Jersey
This form-fitting, water-repelling jersey has been constructed with a durable water repellency (DWR) coated stretch knit fabric making it the perfect choice on misty, wet rides or when light rain may be in the forecast. Because the knit fabric offers excellent breathability, the Storm+ can be comfortably worn in a wide range of conditions and temperature above 50° F.
We love it for mountainous climbs where sleet and rain are always a reality at the summit, even in the middle of the summer. Reflective tabs and strips on either side of the zipper teeth offer added visibility in low-light conditions. Three full-size pockets come in handy when packing for a long day in the saddle or stowing arm warmers that may no longer be needed.
• DWR finished outer fabric for superior water resistance
• 3 full-size rear pockets
• Silicone gripper at waist
• Full–length reverse coil YKK zipper with longer pull for ease-of-use with gloves
• Reflective tabs and strips on either side of zipper teeth
• Euro length sleeves
• Collar hang loop
• Ideal for temperatures above 50° F
This form-fitting, water-repelling jersey has been engineered with our performance-enhancing Zoned-Design™, where multiple high-tech fabrics are strategically used to increase comfort through intense exertion in varying, adverse conditions. In the case of the Storm+ Jersey, we have utilized both fleece and non-fleece fabrics to create a garment that performs exceptionally well in cool/cold/wet weather while also ensuring optimal body temperature regulation. Cozy Storm+ fleece is where you want warmth (front panel, collar and top of arms), while the non-brushed Storm+ Jersey fabric makes up the areas where rapid sweat/heat dissipation is needed to avoid cold-sweat build up (back, sides, forearms and under-arms). The environmentally-friendly, durable water repellency (DWR) makes the Storm+ ideally suited for misty, wet rides or when light rain may be in the forecast, but it's also a good choice for cool, dry days when the temps hover between 35° - 55° F. (We recommend a cold or wet weather base layer and even a vest for the lower temperatures in the range, especially if you tend to me more affected by chilly temps.)
